Chinhoyi District was born in 2005 as a result of the division of the greater Kadoma District. It covers the Mashonaland West and part of Central and stretches to Zambia. The district has embarked on the piggery and uniform projects. Following the appreciation of this growth, the Bishop Rev Gladman and Mrs Mapfumo , the Lay President Mrs Jennifer Mbele, Ministers in the District Revds L Shariwa, Nyembesi  Goredema, Munashe Matata, Obert Maposa, Kudzai Matemba, Daryl Maturi, Godwell Khosa, Enesia Chitauro, Samson Mugova, Elias Chitiki, Ngoni Nyanga, Chakwenya Munyaradzi, Charles Kureva, Christopher Ururu, Kudakwashe Muza, Washington Chatora , Rev Douglas Mukoki and Zambia Circuit, The Principal of Marshal Hartely ( Moleli High and Marshal Primary Schools) Rev Likhai Molife and Staff of the respective Schools  and the Methodist Community in Chinhoyi District wishes the Methodist Church happy 120th Anniversary.
